Windows 10 on screen keyboard number pad free download -

This is such a useful little program! I have purchased a small keyboard lack of desk space and that does not have a numeric keypad. Not only has this program allowed me to assign virtual keys with those characters, but I was also able to assign a whole sentence again, frequently used to a single key.

I don't know how much time this will save me over course of a year, but it will be a good amount. Mostly, the program can be configured without the use of the help file, but it did provide the answer to a couple of issues.

A wonderfully simple app that solves the problem of typing Alt codes on the average laptop. Both of mine lack number option on the middle of the keyboard, but even if they were there I think this would be simpler to use. And I love the feature where a text string can be added - I have keys for my various email addresses as I'm a slow typist. Somebody commented on it being a bit difficult to start adding keys, and you do have to study the Help section, but you don't do it very often so it's OK.

There are many symbols where Mr Google gives hex codes but not an accompanying Alt code so they can't be added. I can live without them and most of them I didn't know existed until I searched, but I wonder why both have to be added.

Presumably this is a techie thing. I've not rated the Support row; I've not called on it so cannot score it. Really nice bit of kit. I like the flexability of the layout. And I really appreciate that I able to program buttons with Greek letters that I use frequently when writing statistics exams. Really handy especially with my touch screen.

Difficult without instructions. A helpful reviewer helped a bit but before those instructions would work I found you had to configure the program via the settings right click the icon Then click on Additional buttons and then click on Alt, Alt-codes then click apply. By exiting the settings click on the X on top right hand of that screen you can then use F9 to show or hide the program. An alt key will appear at the bottom of the program screen so you use that key not the Alt key on your keypad to pass the ASCII code to the program you want the character in.

After that it works as the other reviewer stated. Multi-Language The on-screen keyboard displays the characters that are actually typed in any language, which allows you to type text without a localized keyboard. Fully Customizable You can customize the on-screen keyboard's look and behavior the position, size and number of keys, the colors, and the skin with the ability to select from a large number of available templates.

Developer Support If you are writing your own software kiosk software , you can use the special functions to control the on-screen keyboard: show, hide, move, and change layout or any other parameter. You can also install a Browser Extension to enable this feature. Touch Screens and Tablet Mode The keyboard supports all touch screens and is compatible with tablet mode. If you select any of the suggested words, they will be inserted into the text.

Gestures You can specify gestures for some specific actions: type capital letters, spaces, delete word to left, close the keyboard, etc.

You can modify actions for each swipe type, or disable only some of them. Learn More Auto Repeat When a key is pressed and held, the keyboard types and continues to type the appropriate symbol at regular intervals until the key is released. This is the common behavior for a hardware keyboard. So you can use the on-screen keyboard for playing games on your mobile PC with a touch-screen.

Customizing Ability to customize the keyboard layout and create your own keyboard types. Developer Support Support for programmatic control of the on-screen keyboard. Application shortcut icons that are shown on the on-screen keyboard. Transparency: the ability to change the opacity of the keyboard.

Zooming: the ability to change the size of the keyboard. Floating icon next to the text cursor to invoke the keyboard.

Sounds: the ability to assign sounds to keystrokes. Reviews We have customers interested in a customizable keyboard, so they can add their own keys and such, and yours seems perfect for this. On smartphones, on-screen keyboards are the only way one can type, but that is not the case with computers. So, why would anyone require an on-screen keyboard for their PC or laptop? Actually, there can be many reasons for this. For instance, usually computer keyboards are in English font, and a particular user may wish to always type in their native language or in a language they are more comfortable with. They may not wish to follow a complicated procedure to download that particular font.

In that case, an on-screen keyboard offering the entire alphabet of their language may be appreciated. Security is another reason why users may prefer on-screen keyboards. On-screen keyboards protect users when on an unknown or public network, prevent harm from viruses and other malicious sources, and protect user credentials from being tracked and stored by keyboard tracking sources.

There are many on-screen keyboards available on the internet, but each offers specific functions, so the user has to decide whether they want an on-screen keyboard that focuses more on user protection, or on multi-functionality.
